Sail and Power Boating
District 9

Welcome to the Saginaw Bay Sail and Power Squadron!

The Saginaw Bay Power Squadron is a non profit, educational organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable by teaching classes in seamanship, navigation and related subjects. Our members are boating families who contribute to the community by promoting safe boating through education. We enjoy networking with our fellow members on the water and in the classroom. SBPS is a component of the United States Power Squadron® that has some 45,000 members organized into 450 squadrons across the country and in some US territories. USPS is America's largest non-profit boating organization and has been honored by three US presidents for its civic contributions.

USPS believes that member activities to support safer and more enjoyable boating should be balanced.

That balance is symbolized by the USPS Triangle.

The benefits of membership increase in direct proportion to your level of participation.
